जो भी कहता है ये माया नगरी सोती नहीं झूठ कहता है सच तोह यह है कि इसकी हवाओं में कुछ है जो हमें न सोने पर मजबूर कर देता है चाहे हो मध्य रेल की लोकल ट्रेन या हो दादर में रुककर सांस लेने वाली पश्चिम रेल चलते रहो, चढते रहो बस रुकने का वक़्त नहीं देर कर दोगे तुम अगर अगर गाड़ी थमने से पहले तुम उतरे नहीं फिर भी न जाने क्यों यह कभी थमती नहीं अपनी ज़ुल्फ़ों के अंधेरों में लपेटे है रहती चाहे हो झमाझम बरसात या हो आपातकालीन स्थिति कोई हर चहरे में छिपी मुस्कान कहती है कहानी अनसुनी कोई आंसुओं को पीना, दर्द में हंसना इंसानो को माया से मिलाती है ये नगरी इसके कोनो और नुक्कड़ों में स्वयं के प्रतिबिम्ब से मिल पाओगे ढूँढ लोगे खुदा को भी अगर स्वयं को धूढकर खो जाओगे विडंबना तो यह है कि इस आसीन जमावड़े में कहानिया सीमित हैं ज़िन्दगी की कागज़ के मायावी ताले में मोह की मधुशाला हो या रात का नशा यहां सब है मिलता भूलभुलैया और मंज़िल भी यह माया है और मोह भी थोड़ा हटके थोड़ बचके ये मुंबई है, और एक ज़िन्दगी भी। Art-Illustration by: Aarushi Bhawsar
